The company Süddeutsche Haarveredlung Fischbach + Miller was founded in 1950 by Franz Fischbach and Otto Miller. We started production in the outbuildings of a hotel on a really narrow place. In 1956/57, after acquisition of an own place, modern premises could be built. From the very beginning we refined hair, produced hair goods, especially doll wigs, neck buns and so on. Later we produced also braids, hair pieces and fashion wigs to sell them all over the world.

More and more we adapted our product range to the requirements of our different customers like make-up artists, hair stylists, vocational schools, doll artists, carnival guilds and wigmakers.

Today we are a worldwide supplier of different kinds of hair (human hair, animal hair), synthetic fibres, wigs, hair pieces, wigmaker tools and material and make-up products to well known operas, theatres, musicals, film and television productions.

In 2003 we founded a branch factory in Bardejov (Slovakia) where we manufacture labour-intensive and time-consuming orders. The factory is managed by Adriana Stasekova. She has worked in Laupheim for many years. To ensure the high quality standard as here in Germany we have been certified according to the ISO 9001:2000 standard in 2007.

Fischbach + Miller is a family business in 3rd and 4th generation. For over 20 years the management is in the hands of Ralph Maier, the grandchildren of Franz Fischbach and recently his son Dennis Maier.

In autumn 2022 our new company headquarter was opened at Ludwig-Bölkow-Str. 5 in 88471 Laupheim completed and occupied.
